The Heeling Solutions R.E.S.C.U.E. Program™ was created under the
guidance of a multi-disciplinary team of sports and medical
professionals.

Jeffrey S. Peterson, M.D. - Northern California Institute of Sports Medicine
Born in Long Beach, California, Dr. Jeffrey Peterson did his
undergraduate work at the University of California, Berkeley before
moving on to the Boston University School of Medicine to get his M.D.
in 1996. He completed a surgical internship and an emergency medicine
residency at Stanford University Medical Center. He has also completed
an emergency medicine research fellowship at the University of Colorado
Health Sciences Center and a sports medicine fellowship with Stanford
Sports Medicine. Dr. Peterson is currently practicing as a sports
medicine physician at Stanford University Hospital as well as the
Center for Sports Medicine at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose,
California. He is also a clinical instructor in Emergency Medicine at
the Stanford University Hospital. Despite his busy life, Jeff has a
true love of sports and works hard to make time for physical activity.
He is an avid swimmer, surfer, runner and cyclist. He is also a
competitive triathlete and a marathon runner.

Luke D. Cicchinelli - Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
A native Upstate New Yorker, Dr. Cicchinelli is a 1986 graduate of
North Carolina State University. He completed his Podiatric medical
schooling in 1990 at the Temple University School of Podiatric
Medicine, in Philadelphia. He then completed a three-year residency in
reconstructive surgery of the foot, ankle and lower leg in Atlanta
Georgia. After graduation from residency, he spent two years abroad
between Australia and Spain teaching international Podiatrists and
Orthopedists. He continues a strong international interest with yearly
medical mission trips to Central and South America. He relocated to
Greenville, North Carolina in 1996. He is married to Dr. Devonne Roman
and is an avid marathoner and cyclist. You can visit Dr. Cicchinelli

David Nader - Exercise Physiologist
David Nader was trained at the University of Michigan, where as an
undergraduate he was a member of the varsity gymnastics team. During
graduate school at U of M, he taught exercise physiology laboratory
classes and researched the adoption of corporate fitness programs in
Costa Rica. Mr. Nader worked as an independent fitness consultant in
Ann Arbor, MI and for M-Fit, the U of M Medical Center's corporate
wellness program. In 1996 Mr. Nader relocated to San Francisco,
California where he began working as a clinical researcher for
Quintiles. In 1999 he started LifeTrials, Inc. - an internet start-up
designed to use the web to recruit patients for clinical trials. Mr.
Nader has also worked as a consultant to pharmaceutical and
biotechnology companies including Merck and Co., Elan Pharmaceuticals,
and Eli Lilly and Co. Mr. Nader is currently the founder of Veotu
Productions, a video production company. Veotu produces, markets and
sells visual media in the area of health care and exercise. Mr. Nader
is a Spinning instructor at Gorilla Sports and enjoys competing in road
and mountain bike races, as well as triathlons. | |
